We’re in the running to receive a share of £120,000!
Via our parent charity Debt Advice Foundation, the DebtAware project has been announced as one of five campaigns to potentially win a share of funds from the OneFamily Foundation.
Although five organisations have been shortlisted, only THREE UK charities will be given a donation from the fund.
If you, or someone you know, is a OneFamily customer, you can help us to become one of those three. From 23rd October 2017, OneFamily customers will be given the opportunity to vote for the campaign of their choice. The three charities who receive the highest number of votes will be awarded an average of £40,000.
If successful, the donation will be used to support the training of Money Mentors and supplying primary schools with the resources they need to complete our programme with their pupils for years to come. We are passionate about financial education, and the course covers a range of aspects of money management, such as budgeting, understanding credit and debt, savings and planning for the future.
Voting closes on Friday 17th November and the winning charities will be announced on Wednesday 29th November.
