DebtAware Partners with The Children’s University

DebtAware is delighted to become a Children’s University ‘Learning Destination’

The Children’s University is an international charity which encourages all children aged between 5 to 14 years to try new experiences, develop new interests and acquire new skills through participation in innovative and creative learning activities.

The programmes partner organisations are known as “Learning Destinations”: places which provide high quality learning opportunities in a structured environment which must have passed the Children’s University’s stringent quality assurance processes.

The children receive a passport to learning which they can use to travel to learning destinations and gain stamps in their passports for their participation in exciting activities. Students gain around one credit for every hour of activity they do. Once they have gained enough credits, the children can take part in a graduation ceremony.

DebtAware Education Manager Brian Souter said of the news;

“DebtAware can’t wait to be involved in this worthwhile scheme, which really aligns with our own ethos of encouraging all children to be independent and to aspire for a better future.

“We’re pleased to have gained a place as a learning destination as it shows the quality of our programme.”
