An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Trainer and Development Officer to join Debt Advice Foundation’s financial education programme DebtAware at our offices in Darwen, Lancashire.

The programme is aimed predominantly at children in years 5 & 6 at primary school. However, the programme can also be taught in years 7 & 8 at secondary school level and we have secondary schools whose Money Mentors deliver the programme to associated primary schools.

Reporting directly to the Education Manager, your role will involve:

  • Training and support for teachers in the delivery of 6 financial education modules
  • Training and support for children participating in the DebtAware Money Mentor programme
